My name is Matthew. I'm a sophomore currently attending CU Boulder. I've lived in California for pretty much my entire life so the snow is definitely a change of pace. For all of my life I've always shown an interest in creating art. Although I am not the most prolific artist, I still find enjoyment and satisfaction in creating the art that I do make. When I was super young I used to always draw portraits of my parents and often doodle on my school work different characters that I would design. Recently, I have gotten more involved with the use of Photoshop and I've been using it to produce different logos for fake brands my friends and I make up. I've also just recently showed an interest in the creation and production of music. I would not consider myself the greatest music producer in the world, but I still appreciate the work that goes into creating it. The main reason why I am taking this class is to be practice something that I am truly fascinated in. The world of art and the different methods of creating it have always been intriguing to me. I want to become more skilled in the use of different Adobe tools and how they can be mastered to create art as well as discover new tools in art creation. Finally, I'm just excited to meet other people and how they make art. I always love to meet new people and this class seems perfect for that.
